Jackets

Fur is often considered the ultimate in luxury and style. It’s also very warm, comfortable and lasts a long time when properly cared for. Many people shy away from fur for fear that caring for it will be too difficult or expensive. Although there are some types of fur that are extremely delicate, most are not as difficult to care for as people believe them to be. As long as it is properly stored and cleaned your fur should last for many years.

Storage
1. The optimal way to store fur is to have your furrier place the garment in cold storage where temperature, humidity and ventilation can be monitored. If you plan to store it yourself be sure to do so in a dry, well ventilated area. Fur needs to breathe so that the leather backing on it does not dry out, so never store it in plastic. If you want to use a garment bag, be sure it is made of a breathable cloth. Store your fur in a dark area so that it s not faded by light exposure. Fur does not like heat, so make sure your garment does not spend the summer in a hot closet or room. Finally, never hang fur in a wire hanger. Always use a wide or padded hanger.
Cleaning
2. Fur should be cleaned at least once a year, even if you do not wear it often. When specialists clean fur they also condition it, which keeps it looking its best. Do not use a dry cleaner or attempt to clean your fur yourself using sprays or other chemical cleaners because using the wrong chemical can ruin your garment. Mothproofing should also be done by a qualified fur care professional.
Water
3. If your fur gets immersed in water or otherwise soaked through it is important to seek the help of a fur professional right away. Snow and drizzle, however, will not be a problem for most furs. If your fur gets wet simply shake it out and hang it in a cool. well ventilated area to dry. Shake it out again when it is dry, and smooth out any bristled fur with your hand. Although it may be tempting, you should never use heat to dry your fur, or brush it out.

Fashion Tips for Skinny Men

Small Shoulder Padded Blazers

This type of blazer will impart a muscular look to your upper body. Choose from single or double breasted blazers only that fit your comfortably throughout the body without any extra fabric under the arms or shoulders. Consistency of the top and bottom garment is also very essential to hide your thin frame. However keep the padding light as massive padding can be overwhelming on your thin body making you look lost in oversized garment and also give you a cheap look, despite the fact that the blazer cost you a fortune. Oversized tops with tight fitting pants or vice versa will make your thin frame look even more apparent.

Pants

Flat front classic pants with straight or boot cut shape are perfect for the skinny guy. You can add volume with extra pockets. Regular cut jeans are also a good choice.

Tops that sway at Midsection

Avoid figure hugging and clingy fabric shirts and Tees. Choose loose tops that stand slightly apart at your midsection. This will hide your small ribcage and give you a look of bulkiness. Again avoid very loose garments, lest you seem lost in it.

Right Length of Jacket

The jacket should just about cover your buttocks and not go beyond that, neither should it be too short. Short jackets suit short guys as it adds height while a long jacket will hide your whole body.

Accessories

Accessorize your garments with men’s style light weight stainless steel bracelets and chains that are slightly thick. Avoid heavy metal or broad belts. Broad checked ties would also look good on plain or light colored dress shirts.

Patterns and Fabric

Opt for patterns other than pinstripes. Pinstripes make your body look even thinner. Other patterns would be windowpane or even bold prints. Fabrics with slight bulkiness such as chunky knitted wool garments should help you add a few inches to your frame. Worn over corduroy trousers, they can lend you the weight you require. As for shirts, opt for fabric with higher thread count. Choose crewnecks or turtlenecks and spread collar shirts and Tees to v-necks as they can hide your height. A shorter frame will make you look bulky.

Dresses for wedding tips

Looking for affordable bridesmaid dresses? Try shopping for them during the holiday season – but not in expensive bridal salons. Department stores such Sears, for example, generally carry an excellent selection of glamorous cocktail and evening dresses as the season for parties approaches – but at much lower prices than what you’d pay for similar “bridesmaid dresses” in a bridal boutique. With just a quick look though a local department store before firing off this tip, I was able to find an array of gorgeous styles priced at a mere $49! An entire world of fabulous finds can definitely be found for well under $100. So when the season of good cheer rolls around, it’s time to grab your girls and hit the mall! If rock bottom prices are what you have in mind, here’s an even better suggestion: Scour the stores towards the end of the holiday season when prices are being heavily marked down, and cash in on the clearance sales for even greater savings.

The Soap Seduction

I waited patiently for 10 days.

And my soaps have reached!!

Every Etsy soaper I have bought from has something distinct about their products and the smell of the soap seduction parcel  is: Exotic and Decadent

 IMG_5300

I was first attracted to this Etsy seller because of her gorgeous and exotic looking soaps  and her customer service is fast and prompt.  Also, I have a habit of checking with soapers, on the safety of their items for pregnancy. Patrice the owner of the Soap Seduction actually remember my question and sent me this very lovely card together with the parcel :

 IMG_5289

Sweet :) Patrice is so sweet, I love her thoughtfulness!

First Impressions: I love how everything was wrapped up in pretty pink paper and I absolutely love The Soap Seduction Style. Just going by the wrapping and smells, you feel that everything is meant to entice and seduce you into using them.

IMG_5286

The first item I took a bite out of, hehe , was the free sample of a Lip Bomb. The packaging is so convenient because you can turn the base and the balm glides right out and there are only 4 ingredients in it. It’s ultra ultra moisturizing & long lasting  but I wish she would have included the scent name. It smells of cranberry bubblegum. Nothing synthetic & very light :) No smell of any oils or beeswax or anything like that. Only drawback is that it’s a little mushy due to the heat. I think this lip balm needs some refrigeration before I apply it on again.

 IMG_5295

Next up are the sample size sugar scrubs! I got 2 flavors – Sniker Doodles & Lemon Chiffon. I wish I wish I wish I had bought the larger version of the Lemon Chiffon. It is to die for. The smell is SO SO good, I can’t even describe it.

IMG_5310

Both sugar scrubs are very smooth and the sugar particles in it are very fine and gently exfoliate the skin. Both scrubs lather well but differently. Packaging wise, I would have preferred the labels to be waterproof cause the ink from the ingredients label ran when I brought this into the toilet with me.

Snicker Doodles smells like a rich cinnamon bun mixed with a sneaker bar and the lather is  creamy. It can be a little overpowering and it makes my skin smell like warm vanilla with some notes of cinnamon.

 IMG_5311

Lemon Chiffon is a MUST HAVE!  It looks gorgeous in the sample sized jar and the smell is just decadent. It smells like the most sinful  lemony, vanilla chiffon cake ever, without all the calories :) The lather is truly amazing and leaves your skin feeling clean and silky smooth afterwards and if you are anything like me, you’ll be smelling yourself continually . I swear this is the sexiest food scent I have ever used. OMG> to die for people.IMG_5313

Next up are The Soap Seduction Soaps!

 IMG_5301

The first Soap I got was Holiday Serenade and this was not the smell I was expecting. It smells like Spicy exotic Potpourri :( The soap looks gorgeous though and I have a friend in mind to give this soap to. She prefers deeper muskier scents, while I adore sweet rich ones.

IMG_5321

The second soap I tried was Killa Vanilla and man oh man, this is one strong sexy smelling vanilla. It looks and smells good enough to eat. It’s cut like a small cake and the color  reminds you of coffee and chocolate. I think I might be a vanilla scent convert! Never would I have ever imagined that vanilla could smell so comforting and dead sexy at the same time!

IMG_5331

IMG_5334

The last soap I bought was the sweet nothings. It is huge! I like the light floral and fruity scent it imparts and it’s perfect for days when you just feel like doing nothing and lazing about. I don’t find the soaps moisturizing enough and the scent of this bar is very very light.IMG_5327

IMG_5329

Overall, I LOVE the SUGAR SCRUBS.

I like the soaps because they look very exotic and have a unique smell but the scent disappears too quickly after I bath unlike the sugar scrubs. Also, they are not as moisturizing as Bare Bumm Bath. Still, I have to say the scents are unique & seductive( can be overpowering to some I suspect) , the sugar scrubs are lovely and Patrice is a very sweet seller !

It’s midweek! Countdown to Friday people!

Weekend Loves ~

The weekend came and went almost too fast and I’m about 33 weeks + ! I look really ready to pop any time soon as I am gigantic:)  My baby doctor says that Baby Boy is still in the Breech position and we’ll just have to wait and see if he decides to turn by the 37th Week. My oh my, the time is reaching soon and I cannot wait to post pictures of my little sweetheart for you guys to see.

Riding on my all natural bath and body craze, I decided to treat myself to an all natural, no SLS, no parabens, organic Aloe Vera Shampoo. I got this from a health shop and it cost around 16 SGD. Pretty good value for the huge size too. This shampoo looks like clear green jello but it leaves the hair clean and soft. There is no over bearing smell to it and it makes my hair feel light and clean. Not too bad if you ask me.

The second item from the health store was a 99% Aloe Vera Jelly. I have quite a few AV plants at home but I’ve long given up on breaking them, cutting the pokey leaves and storing the sticky flesh in a tub. Takes way too much work IMO.

I use commercial AV Gelly for : Face & Body and any cuts. I like to use it after I’ve exfoliated my skin too. It’s so comforting and won’t clog pores.

IMG_5218  IMG_5220

My mom got me this bag and I like it cause it’s sturdy but light. It’s so spacious and Black & Gold is right up my alley. Started using it once I got it!

IMG_5226

Took /Stole this carebear pouch from my mom’s gazillion bags\purses drawer to store my soaps. It’s the most adorable bag ever and the best part is I can smell my soaps from the outside. Soap addiction at it’s worst!

IMG_5240

Ah, my mom bought this yummy looking dessert BUT it was kinda like a mousse cake!

* Unfortunately, no raw eggs for preggy ladies ** Sigh. I want some home made tiramisu so badly. I’ve promised myself to have a good big cup of starbucks once I reach 37 weeks!! hahaha I’ve gone without caffeine for almost 8 + months now!!!

IMG_5233 IMG_5235

Yup, looks like fruity goodness and I can’t eat it! :<

Taking about food, my friends came over for a house warming part and  it was great seeing them! I’ve known them since I was 16 and it’s like 10 years later and we are all pretty much still the same :) Love u girls for coming over and thanks for the gifts below!

IMG_5258

IMG_5268

Cherry Season is on right now! Please indulge in nature’s goodness. They look good and taste even better:)

IMG_5280

Have a great week everyone!

Hopefully there’ll be some soaps and scrubs arriving soon :)

“ you Don’t look good without MU”

I woke up today, grumpier than ever after a whole week of little and terrible sleep , and saw that someone had left a comment on my previous blog saying something like:

- You don’t even look that great without makeup -

This peeved me to NO END.  I think that I mentioned in that blog entry that I DID NOT PUT ON MAKEUP, so this person either has a comprehension problem or is just trying to pass on the negative vibes.

This is not the first time I have heard this STUPID line and I will explain why this claim pisses me off in a bit.

FIRST OF ALL, let me say, even celebrities don’t look that great without makeup. What do you expect from a normal 26 yr old girl like myself? I don’t have a chef, a trainer, millions of bucks at my absolute disposal and if I look a little greasy or gross, it’s because I don’t have a personal butler to a hand me tissue or my makeup tools for a touch up every 5 minutes. Having said that, I do know that  I can look really tired and a little sad without some makeup. I accept this as part of growing up as a woman. I am no longer a young 13 year old who can prance around with no makeup on  and have people think I look fresh and adorable. Life doesn’t pan out that way for morons out there who think they can wake up and look great with soap and water.

People who leave stupid comments like these are just playing dumb.

Just check out this link to see your favorite personalities without a smidgen of makeup. Do their natural faces look a little tired and devoid of color? Yes. But, YOU OBVIOUSLY KNOW that they haven’t gone to their favorite makeup artist yet!! They don’t even have their game face on!

http://seehere.blogspot.com/2006/08/celebrities-without-makeup.html

Just to be fair here, I’ll accept all criticism that I do look oily at times.

- You don’t even look that great without makeup -

Back in my University days, I remember having a female group mate who made a similar comment. We were closing in on exams and having to juggle all the mugging and meaningless project work, I came to school one day without so much as eyeliner on. It was very apparent that I WAS NOT WEARING ANY MAKEUP. My lids were not green, blue or brown and my lashes were droopy. My Lips were pale and my skin was bare. IT WAS 100% obvious that I did not have my usual concealor, eyeliner and mascara on. That’s the first time I heard this line thrown at me : “ Wow, why do you look so tired? your face looks so different without makeup …( i get your damn hint) ”

Should I have worn a shirt that says: I AM ON A MAKEUP STRIKE TODAY BECAUSE I JUST SPENT THE PAST FEW DAYS\NIGHTS MUGGING & HAD TO TRAVEL for 2 HOURS IN A CROWDED TRAIN & BUS TO REACH THIS SUPERFICIAL SCHOOL OF COMMERCE?

It’s like asking a heavy person, who is eating a salad:

“ ARE YOU TRYING TO LOSE WEIGHT?” -----------> DUH, seriously you need to examine your social tact and get some manners. Try not to be so dull in future.

Seriously, if you are the moron who left the comment, please try not to leave anymore stupid and meaningless comments such as these. I mentioned that I was not wearing makeup. Did I ask if I looked great to you? Did I mention that I looked amazing without makeup? No I did not.

Coming from a school of “superficial people”, aka business students, I was pretty much exposed to all types of vain pots. There were those who would come to lecture rooms with a full face of makeup – heavy foundation and all, at 9am in the morning. Their hair would be immaculately curled and they look like they had to wake up at 5am just to get ready in time for the fashion parade. There were girls who were effortlessly beautiful, yes I hated them, but they looked good no matter the time of day and situation. Than, there were also girls who came with little to no makeup.  I tried to fall somewhere in between and it hurts when people make stupid comments that imply that your natural face doesn’t look that good when you decide to take a day off makeup. I think it’s sheer laziness to look like you just woke up and brushed your teeth when meeting people. I also think it’ sad to not be able to take a day or two off sometimes, to let your pores breathe or let your lashes go natural, for fear of people’s perception. Goodness our world is ruled with enough judgment and critique about how women should look like and it’s pissing me off. Women get critiqued for their bodies, their faces and their behavior. Enough is enough, the blog is mine and the pictures too and if you find my natural face ugly, buzz off. I’m no longer a 16 yr old who can’t differentiate stupidity  and meanness and real honesty/constructive criticism.

I appreciate comments on my made up face to be honest. I like to hear people’s feedback about a certain look or a certain eye  or lip color and if they don’t like it, I’m fine with it.  I am not fine with it when I specifically said that I WAS NOT WEARING ANY MAKEUP & NEVER SAID A THING ABOUT THINKING THAT MY NAKED FACE IS GORGEOUS & DOESNT NEED ANY MAKEUP AT ALL. I think girls should have a real idea sometimes about the transformational abilities of makeup. They shouldn’t have that twisted mindset that all women wake up and look like they graced the cover of a magazine. Stupid shows that have actors waking up with a full face of makeup on, that’s crap,  not real life. Your naked face is reality. I love my naked face and I think it’s far from flawless or fabulous. My naked face is the real me and makeup is there to enhance my features. If I look better with makeup on, good, cause that’s normal. That’s why the beauty industry is booming. Women know that makeup helps them to look good and face the world.  The term NATURAL BEAUTY though has been absolutely contorted. The media and magazines show all this unrealistic “natural beauties” and the truth is, so many women don’t see the makeup, the photography, the photo editing and the stylist that run the whole show. They think that women do indeed look like a million bucks without hours of grooming/some nip & tuck/plastic surgery  and what not. NATURAL BEAUTY has been killed by the media. It no longer exist in my dictionary.

If ever anyone should say to you that you don’t look good without makeup, don’t take it personally. Take it that such a comment is coming from a highly idiotic moron whose goal in life is to make people feel miserable.

I refuse to give in to such a stupid comment and wear makeup everyday so that people would think that  I look a certain way all the time. I don’t. I have my bad days with my swollen puffy eyes and my chubby cheeks. I have days when my skin wants to flare up and yet I have days when I think I look pretty cute too.

If anyone ever tells you “ you don’t look great without makeup,”  just tell them “ F*^% off & Grow Up”

I take major offence to people insulting women’s natural faces. Women have a hard enough time accepting themselves in society. We don’t need to have our self esteem unnecessarily squashed down to Zero. Loving yourself without any makeup on is the first step to looking beautiful. When you get rid of people’s perception and your own harsh judgment of your naked face, only than can you embrace your looks completely and learn to bring out the best of your features. Love your naked face and it will love you back.

Clearer Skin with Peels

I was surfing online when I stumbled across this website that was selling quite an assortment of DIY home peels. While exchanging emails with a  good friend, it struck me that I had paid a few hundred dollars to get peels done at a fancy clinic and I even had to forgo one session because I discovered that I was pregnant.  So, that’s around 100 bucks down the drain! After stumbling across makeupartistchoice.com, I found their testimonial page pretty impressive with a number of before and after pictures. As I am a true and firm believer of peels for acne scarring, pigmentation and any form of skin irregularities, I found myself itching to buy some stuff!

Look at this before and after picture. Pretty impressive stuff. I’m pretty tempted to try out the glycolic, TCA and pumpkin scrub from this company. Anyone tried their products before??

On a side note: b.liv from Cellnique was very generous and sent me 3 products to review. Products were aimed at addressing my black\white heads on the nose and occasional spots. I’ve asked and they have mentioned that it is safe to use b.liv products during pregnancy but I’m not too sure about  the spot treatment one which contains Salicylic acid ( which I am trying to avoid). I’m going to try the other 2 products for a month plus and I’ll get back on the results.

De Shawn Marie & Papaya Scrub

Lilac Rose Vegan Handmade Soap, made with real roses, lilac and coconut milk base.

Picture by De Shawn Marie Soaps

If ever there were a designer soap, this would be it. This particular soap is called Lilac Rose and it has the prettiest  rose petals gorgeously embedded in it. The soft hues of pink & creamy white make it the most sensual looking soap ever. It smells like soft sweet rose petals. Lovely.

IMG_5141

Won over by the pretty presentation, I bought 5 soaps from De Shawn Marie for 25 USD. Most are going to be given as gifts and only one bar is meant for personal consumption * My bar smells yummy & I want to eat it. These soaps look like they were individually handcrafted and deserve their very own shelf space  solely for admiration purposes.

If you love the smell of fresh flowers, fruits or simply want to be reminded of  an aromatic garden scent, you will love De Shawn Marie Soaps. They aren’t as huge  or as creamy as BareBummBath but the lather of the soap is amazing. It makes you feel squeaky clean and very refreshed. Her scents will caress and soothe your senses:) She also has a little letter in the parcel talking about her latest discoveries for green teas and oils while holidaying in  Vietnam and assures that that her ingredients are of the highest quality. Just as much as I love to pamper my face, I love to pamper my skin and I think it’s time for me to ditch the parabens and detergents that are found in commercial soaps.

IMG_5137

The soaps I purchased were Lilac Rose, Limoncello, Grapefruit Orange, Lavender Cloud and Vanilla Coconut. I took 4 pictures from her Etsy page cause the rest are meant as gifts. My mom chose Grapefruit Orange and when she took it out of the box it looked exactly like this Etsy picture. Smells and looks pretty beautiful. Nothing over powering, just a very nice whiff of light grapefruit and citrus.

Grapefruit Orange Handmade Soap made with Coconut Milk, Grapefruit Oil and Oatmeal

Vanilla Coconut

This soap smells a little like a mild vanilla and coconut cake. I could smell it through the box so this was a little tempting!

Vanilla Coconut Handmade Soap made w/real vanilla and coconut milk

Lavender Cloud

Nice whiff of mild lavender. Very therapeutic and relaxing…

Limoncello!

This rolled soap looked too cute for me to resist . The novelty of this rolled soap wears out pretty quick cause if you cut it into smaller strips to use, it becomes so awkward to use ( I have to unroll the soap  to get a nice rectangular piece)  and if you do use the whole bar than there’s going to be some amount of wastage. I would prefer this in the regular soap shape for practical reasons :)

DSCF0705

 DSCF0712

Overall, I give her soaps an A+ for packaging, freshness and aromatic scents with great lather. Her soaps gets creamier with use. Unfortunately, ever since I’ve been using Bare Bumm Bath * amazing * Soaps, I can’t help but feel that the Limencello is a little bit too drying and cleans my skin a little too well for my liking. I prefer my skin to feel clean yet nicely moisturized after a bath. On the other hand, I know my mom loves De Shawn’s Soaps because she is crazy over that “squeeky clean feeling”.  As I said before, soaps are very personal and there’s a PERFECT bar of handmade soap for everyone, you just need to find it!

Lastly, her shipping cost a little tiny bit more but shipping was super quick and her customer service is excellent. These soaps make excellent gifts and whoever is receiving it will be very pleasantly surprised!

I have some body scrubs, body lotions and of course more soaps coming in a few weeks time! Meanwhile, I am using a different soap for every bath and I love it!

______________________________________________________

I have been using this scrub for 2 months now and have found it to be an extremely effective facial scrub cum Enzymatic Exfoliate :)  PEEL ME A PAPAYA was lying around my home and I think it was purchased from Highonhealth.org  some time ago( I don’t think she stocks it anymore and you would have to check Simply Divine Botanicals website) . As you know papaya contains the enzyme papain and is full of vitamins that can regenerate skin.

DSCF0713DSCF0715

DSCF0719

I love all the ingredients listed as they are all great for the skin. Sometimes, papaya or pineapple based facial products can be very harsh and can result in redness or rashes, especially for sensitive skin types. As such, ingredients such as Chamomile, Calendula, Lavender and Coconut Milk are very soothing for the skin when incorporated into a papaya based facial peel.

After I pour out some peel, I add Dr Bronners (*Lavender Scented)  into the dish and mix with some water. It’s all a matter of guestimation but I have to warn you, this mixture STINGS. If you have thin sensitive skin, please skip Dr Bronners or use more water to get a runny consistency. If you have thicker, dull looking skin or some acne scarring, try a thicker consistency with a little water only. The first few times I tried this scrub, I used equal parts Dr Bronners and the papaya peel and my face felt like it was on fire. It was very red afterwards but I noticed that a red scar healed very quickly. Currently, I use Dr Bronners and this papaya peel but it’s more like 3 parts Dr B. to 1 part Papaya peel. After I do a gentle scrub, I usually proceed to letting it sit on my face for 2 minutes or so.

Directions:-

* I recommend that you try DR B. + Papaya Peel + Water, if you have sensitive skin or have never done any form of fruit peels before. Be very gentle with your skin. It should look very runny and there is little to no stinging sensation.

DSCF0720

* For acne scarring, dull, thick and non sensitive skin types, try Dr B.+Papaya Peel. Feel free to add a little water if you are unsure at first. Once confident, you can omit  water, mixing more papaya peel to Dr B.  Once you feel the effectiveness declining, up the proportion for Dr B.

Be warned though, this concoction gives off a very strong smell.

DSCF0717

This scrub can be used twice a week . I wouldn’t recommend anymore cause it does a very good job of exfoliating. Afterwards, slap on some Aloe Vera or your favorite moisturizer and feel it sink right into your skin!

I think my skin looks clear and refreshed after this scrub( ignore my red veins, they have been with me since young) :

Toners on Etsy

Ah, just another reason to shop on Etsy. They sell skincare items and today I was zooming in on some toners! I love botanical\natural\non heavily scented toners and a few caught my fancy!

Currently, I’m getting about the days toner-less but I know once my normal hormonal cycle kicks in along with the ever abundant sebum, hissy fits and all, I’ll definitely need to start being very thorough with my skincare.  Having a baby has changed my skin somewhat, making it “normal” for once in my life. Right now, I don’t suffer from outbreaks and whatever pimples that do appear, disappear pretty quick. However, going by a few of my pregnant friends who also had well behaved skin during pregnancy, they did have bad acne once their monthly cycle was back in full swing.  I better be ready!

First off,

BOTANICAL TONER For Dry, Normal and Mature Complexions

by solsticescents

BOTANICAL TONER For Dry, Normal and Mature Complexions - With Witch Hazel, Rose Water, Soothing Lavender and Organic Cucumber Waters, Green Tea, Rose Essential Oil and More

This Facial Toner definitely grabbed my attention due to it’s pretty packaging and amazing ingredients list. I am a fan of lavender, rose water and green tea extract. This seems like a very soothing and mild toner.

Ingredients: Witch Hazel, Rose Water, Lavender Water, Cucumber Water (preserved with silver citrate and citric acid), Organic Green Tea Extract (preserved in Potassium Sorbate and Sodium Benzoate), Essential Oils Rose of Palmarosa and Geranium Bourbon, Glycerin

ACNE GLYCOLIC TONER

by beautyinbalance

ACNE GLYCOLIC TONER - Italian Lemon Peel and Sugar Maple - Clear Skin Facial Toner With Fruit Alpha Hydroxy Acid Exfoliation

This particular toner consist of Lemon Peel, Sugar Maple, fruit extracts and skin loving essential oils. I like how this toner is geared towards un-clogging the pores and regenerating the skin, unlike other toners which claim to tighten the pores or prep the skin for the next step in your skincare regime. I will definitely have to use sunblock if I am using this product in the day due to the exfoliating effect.

Ingredients: Aloe barbadensis (Organic Aloe Vera), Hamamelis virginiana (Witch Hazel), Acer Saccharinum (Organic Sugar Maple) Extract, Citrus medica limonum (Organic Lemon) Extract, Vaccinium Myrtillus (Organic Bilberry) Extract, Vaccinium macrocarpon (Organic Cranberry) Extract, Saccharum officinarum (Organic Sugar Cane) Extract, Citrus auranium dulcis (Organic Orange) Extract, Malic Acid, Citric Acid, Tartaric Acid, Glycolic Acid, Lactic Acid, DMAE, Kosher Vegetable Glycerin, Phenoxyethanol, Melaleuca alternifolia (Tea Tree) Essential Oil Polysorbate, Essential Oils, Tetrasodium Edta, Salix nigra (Black Willowbark) Extract

Lavender and Aloe Healing Facial Mist

by SpaGoddess

Lavender and Aloe Healing Facial Mist - Organic

Lavender Mist. Enough said. I love lavender anything especially since it is so good for our skin. Out of the 3 toners, I like this packaging the most due to the easy to use spray bottle. It’s more hygienic and can last a longer time. Ingredients wise, the formulation looks pretty straightfoward. There isn’t a ton of ingredients which can be a good thing for ultra sensitive skins.

Spa Goddess seems to be a crowd favourite and going by the feedback, her products really seem to work.

Ingredients: 96% Organic Lavender Mist Tone ,organic aloe, organic lavender hydrosol, organic witchazel, kosher vegetable glycerin, paraben free preservative system, lavender essential oils

I can’t make up my mind just yet, but when I do, I’ll let  you know and do a review on the selected toner! Any great toners you can’t live without?

The weekend seems so near yet so far… …. sighss
