ulzzang FOTD & Mini Sasa Haul!

IMG_0116

Here’s what I bought from Sasa a few days back – Top and bottom falsies . These are eyelashes are the best I’ve tried from Sasa. The band is not too soft and they are very easy to apply. I got the black eyelash glue by darkness( works better than DUO adhesive for me) and Sasa heated eyelash curler. Hoping that the heated lash curler will make my lashes look super curled. I really hope it works!!

~~~ Here’s my ulzzang look of the day!
PERFORMANCE:
  1. love the colors – bright and vibrant
  2. a light application goes a long way
  3. gorgeous when paired with lipgloss
  4. smells good – a little like the older  YSL lipsticks
  5. affordable
  6. packaging rocks – proud to have this lipstick in my makeup pouch :)
  7. doesn’t dry lips out
  8. Can’t fault this lippy too much except for the fact that the lighter shade ( pink gossip ) fades after a few hours of wear and even shorter if you eat. These colors leaves a strong stain after it wears off.
Overall, I kinda love Rimmels Color show off lipstick. For the price, it is pretty excellent. Smooth and not overly dry with a gorgeous color selection to choose from. I approve!
I wish all of Rimmel products were as good as their lipsticks. A few more reviews of RImmel’s products coming up!
Have u tried any of Rimmel product and loved it? Let me know please!
Here’s some random brand called SUKI I bought from SASA…
It’s really affordable and I like both eyebrow colors. Very natural looking.
KOJI Eyelash Curler Review
I was doing some shopping for a friend and I just had to get this cute Green Packaged KOJI No.70 Eyelash Curler too. Usually I never pay any attention to the eyelash curlers in SASA, due to a previous negative purchase experience  but if another beauty blogger is asking for a certain brand and we usually have similar taste in cosmetics, than I get pretty excited about it & ta da. Also, some of you have also recommended this curler!
Maybe I have some serious curler fetish going on as I’ve already bought 3 in the past month but seriously I was getting frustrated at the larger sized watsons curler which did not allow me to close my makeup pouch! lesson learned as I like compact makeup pouch and the KOJI eyelash curler smaller size allows me to keep my makeup case that way.
KOJI EYELASH CURLER NO.70(Regular, 33mm)
*Cute Green Packaging
*Affordable
*Reliable Quality ( Made in Japan)
* Band Width 33mm ( fits my small eyes pretty nicely) – no biting of the skin at all
* Good grip and nice tension when curling
Size Comparison ( Watsons Lash Curler)
As I’ve found out there are other curlers in this series and they seem to differ in terms of band width and some are even foldable. Could not find the others though ( no 71, 72,100, Moni etc…) . All I’ve found were  No. 70 and 73 Koji curlers :(
Anyways,I do like my Koji No.70 :P
It’s so dangerous buying things for others, I just end up buying extras for myself!!  hehe
Super Easy Eyes with Korean Falsies
Girls with hooded lids look really nice with falsies especially in pictures. It helps to bring out the eyes and No I am not talking about over the top XiaXue eye makeup but wearable and non clownish eye makeup.
So far, the best false eyelashes I have used are these random Korean Branded lashes from SaSa. They are soft and look very natural. They are a breeze to use.
So, it only took me 10-15 minutes MAX to do this simple eye look, which goes to show how easy it is!IMG_5767IMG_5763
Step 1: Apply a base for shadow to stick. Too Faced Shadow Insurance, Becca cream eye shadow, etc…
Step 2: Apply Mac shadestick Blackish Purple color, close to the lashes, leaving the inner corner and the bottom inner half untouched. The color is very light but it’s just a outline
Step 3:Taking Mac Vanilla Pigment, apply it onto the inner corners and the bottom inner lash line
IMG_5734IMG_5735
Step 4: Use a color closest to your lid shade and blend it all over lidsIMG_5736
Step 5 :Intensify the black outline. I love these Loreal Hip Eyeshadows that Dee sent to me:)
IMG_5732
Step 6: Take Falsies, measure and trim it. Since it is so long, I like to trim the outer ends and  glue the extra lash portion onto the band of the outer corners of the original falsie and give it time to dry!
Apply as close to lash line as possible & Curl if you like ~ IMG_5740
Step 7: Apply Fairy Drops Mascara generously to both false and real lashes as well as the bottom lashes.
Step 8: U’re done! Check for any unblended harsh lines:-)
  Hope that was quick enough for u busy bees out there! It’s FRIDAY!!
